no they arent. we have had a good start to the season nobody is getting carried away. however the manic depressives on here (recognise anyone?) are trying to suck your will to live.
Going to take some time ridding the Moyes legacy from many myself included . Very pleased with today still a lot of hard work for Grayson to do but thankful the energy vampire isn't part of our club .

Not getting carried away, long long way to go and bigger tests to come but enjoying a great win which we haven't been able to do much in the last couple of years GERRIN !

Compared to this board........"Happy Clapper Central"

"It's a great win and it has been a strong-ish start for us - but that's all it is, a good start, and no-one is getting carried away.

"What has happened here is in the past - it's all about what happens in the future now and what I will say is that I have got a good, hard-working group here - it's a working class city and that's what the people demand."

Contrast with Moyesys opening comments which were something like how we were in a relegation fight, don't expect anything, we are lucky to have him, it's always been like this and its not his fault. Fcking disgrace he was allowed anywhere near our club.

Did he, Grayson came in when we were probably at our lowest ebb for years, his appointment wasn't universally well received, Moyes pretty much was.
Grayson has barely spent £2m, Moyes spent £30m.
I'm not comparing leagues or points gained or who is the better manager, but I think Grayson's job was/is equally as difficult as Moyes.

This. Moyes had a hard job,I supported him because of it, but it can't compare to the job Grayson has! A team who can't even get 30 PL points would struggle in the Championship. Take away their best striker, their star keeper and others (borini) and give about £2m to replace them with and you've given a near impossible task. Certainly harder than what Moyes walked into.

I don't think we'll go up, I think we'll be near mid table, but if (big if) Grayson can get us anywhere near then I'm sorry, he's done a job here akin to Peter Reid.

Over the moon, 30/70 possession is a little worrying though all the same away from home or not.
Eh? Would you rather we lost but had 70% possession?
It's actually reassuring rather than worrying that we a solid result from such low possession. It shows we had a plan and executed it very well.
I expect us to employ this tactic a lot against teams like Wolves, Boro,Hull and the like.
