Grayson apologists

That was a classic. I got out of him, that he would prefer an empty sol, for home games. He would not back down from that ridiculous comment.

No idea if he still posts, but I don't think he is missed
To be fair, Grayson was successfully working his way to that objective when he was interrupted with the sack.

I was being somewhat facetious mate in truth.
I know, but it was just too good an opportunity to pass up

Grayson genuinely wanted the job and was doing his best. For that he deserves some respect. Unfortunately, he just isn’t a very good manager.

Nothing against him personally, but I will admit I was totally underwhelmed when we appointed him. He’s one of those mid-tier managers who lingers around, never does anything of any note, and you just hope your paths never cross. It’s a bit like one of those basically decent but nonetheless boring and awkward kids at school who really wants to be your friend, but you just wish he’d piss off and leave you alone.

There’s also something about the “by ‘eck gritty Yorkshireman” thing that gets right on my tits. Again, not something he can help, but still....

i dont hate Grayson, he is a manager who has his qualities but was the wrong man for the job- he built a team that scored goals from almost nothing but he couldnt get us to defend and he ran out of ideas immediately and should have gone at least a month prior
I do hate moyes, he poisoned the club with his hawkish negativity and his own obssession with his success at everton and with his demons from the Man Utd job- wasting money on kids who werent ready and then desperately trying to fix things with some has beens from everton.

I'm so happy we got Coleman, hes the type of manager we needed all along since Sam left- its early days but he is bold and has an idea of the team he wants rather than the players.

Time to retire from public life.

We have a long way to go of course.

But Coleman has shown immediately what basic organisation can do. He talked more sense in his first press conference than Grayson had all season.

Time and time again we get people saying it's the players not the manager.
It's nearly always the manager.

Except in our case it was/is the ownee

You should restrain yourself from making early knee jerk judgements. The Sheff Utd performance was straight out of the Grayson era.

The concerning thing for me is, where do they go from that?

only thing that might be worth doing is drastic first team changes but what options are there?

Absolutely was. There'll be plenty more of that before season's end.

But it's a clear as day that Coleman is far more able than Grayson.
