Time to retire from public life.

We have a long way to go of course.

But Coleman has shown immediately what basic organisation can do. He talked more sense in his first press conference than Grayson had all season.

Time and time again we get people saying it's the players not the manager.
It's nearly always the manager.
I think it was a case of ‘safc excess manager syndrome’ that made me inclined to stick with him but by October I’d reached the end of me tether.

This was my point, again and again, during the dog days of that fool. We're not seeing anything particularly exceptional with Coleman - it's the bare basics.

Let's hoy the worst one in here and see what he has to say for himself now. @Bagpuss

Agree about the change in manager . Goes hand in hand though, players have certainly got to take responsibility.

Good post
Huge difference since Cookie came in
Not a coincidence
Grayson is a decent fella but he was out of his depth

There were a few on here. Mind one I suspect was Simon himself.

There was definitely one that was him/knew him well. Turned up when he was appointed and hasn’t posted since he went.

The difference between the two just goes to show the fraud Grayson is. While simple Simon was telling us all there wasn’t enough time between games to work on anything, and was blaming players for conceding goals after showing players a video half an hour before kickoff, Coleman has us looking organized, and has cut out the individual errors in less time than it takes Grayson to call us all cockroaches for daring to criticize him.

After the depressing and morale-sapping reign of terror that Moyes oversaw we needed someone who could come in and lift the place and spirits of us fans. A dour, morose Yorkshireman was not the best choice for that role. The game was up for him when he first walked out at the stadium and looked like a rabbit in the headlights. The job was too big for him, and it didn’t help that he didn’t work out straight away that confidence-building was the number one priority. Everything he did, or attempted, simply added to the confusion, and gave no indication that he was the one who could mastermind our recovery. Coleman has come in and his quiet confidence is starting to rub-off on everybody, fans included.

The way you carry yourself can make all the difference.

Jesus let it go mate. The job was too big for him, end of.
