Care to explain how a man who has;
managed Leeds United,
won 4 promotions,
led Blackpool to their highest league position in 48 years,
built a top half championship team on the league's lowest budget with PNE,
led Leeds to their first win at Old Trafford in 30 years

is a loser.
Didn't Ian Holloway take Blackpool to there highest position?

I still cannot comprehend how many Sunderland fans believe this to be the case.

The vast majority of Sunderland players are not physically fit enough or mentally strong enough to compete over the hard slog of a 46 game championship season.

Huddersfield finished in the play offs last season; with more or less the same squad of players they are now 11th in the Premier League, that group of players didn't even finish in the top two last season, the two teams they beat in play offs are now lower mid table in the championship.

There is far more quality, physical strength, fitness, running power, mental strength etc in the championship than you credit it with.

Sunderland are miles, miles behind the likes of Leeds, Bristol City, Sheffield United etc.

Totally disagree!!

The reason Huddersfield are doing well is because they have a settled system and a clear way of playing, not to mention all the players want to prove a point to the rest of the league that they are good enough.

While I agree we’re miles off the rest (league table and results don’t lie) to say we’re not fit enough is laughable.

All teams have enough time in pre season to get into top shape ready for the new season and you’d have thought that having plenty of premier league experience would be a plus.

It doesn’t take Columbo to figure out that some of the squad don’t want to be here and can’t be arsed.

To say there is more quality isn’t true, all of the games I’ve watched this year have been very poor, little quality and all of the teams seem the same to me.

He never led Blackpool to the top flight and he will never manage in the top flight, he is at best shite

I see that old excuse that he signed a load of rubbish because he didn't get his first choices is being trotted out again.

Grayson was supposed to be great at working on the lowest of budgets. He brought loads of players in during the window and they are all f***ing shite with the exception of Browning and Grabban. Not a single clean sheet in 17 attempts, absolutely f***ing clueless and attrocious. He actually paid money for and gave a decent contract to Steele ffs.

Grayson had his moment and failed to take it. The job was there and he knew what was required.

He accepted the job and assurances must have been agreed that he would be able to deliver on what he had and who he could get in.

By the time he left, he had failed to deliver, alienated, the supporters who would have followed him through thick and thin, if he had showed a modicum of sucess.

Get the players motivated and playing as a team mid table. The fans who started to make displeasure known are genuine supporters with their interests being the clubs.

Whats done is done and a new chapter has started in the book of Sunderland, I am trying to read between the lines for a happy ending for all.
