I agree on starting somewhere with the original suggestion. Didn't proctor work his way up through the age groups here?the needing to start csomeonewhere argument is a very valid one..just as michael proctor needed to start someowhere and is an explayer and started at safc..my point is..if catts can be offered u18s manager tat boro why would he come to safc to take a less senior role? same with leadbitter?
You suggesting he isn’t? If so, why?MLF I read on here.
i guess proctor did and the dickman chap that is head of the academy. Thats why I dont know what people are complaining about,..we already do take former players and let them work their way up..proctor and dickmany may not have been fampous players like leads and catts though..I agree on starting somewhere with the original suggestion. I'm more interested in a better coach than a more famous coach.i guess proctor did and the dickman chap that is head of the academy. exactly. And while Im no casting aspersions on leads or catts ability as coaches...the fact they were famous players doesnt automatically mean they are better att coaching than a less famous playerI'm more interested in a better coach than a more famous coach.
well .... middlesbrough have given him a job ........... who are higher up than safc ..... better team and better ran club .....
just doing a kildare back to you marra
JealousyWhy do you hate them so much if you don't mind me asking?
And the very best of luck to them and you, no ill feelings towards Boro at all, good club, great supporters, top ownerGrant is a Boro legend.
Understandable that both him and Catts haven taken up their roles at Boro for a variety of reasons.
Boro's Academy has a proven track record as being amongst the very best over many years and these two ex-players will be very useful additions moving forward.
