@YoungSunEcho: Danny Graham: “I’d spoken to the manager at Sunderland and been told that I wasn’t part of the plans" #safc

Well its good news and the goalless record is going to condemn him to a horrible hall of fame of bad stats. He played well at times and got a few assists......I'm glad to see him moving on but he played a part, small as it was, in keeping us up by the skin of our teeth...wasn't his fault he was brought here...error by O'Neill. All the best to him.

why are people celebrating giving one of our rivals a 5 million pound forward for a nominal fee leaving them extra funds for strengthening elsewhere?,ridiculous move.

Hope we took them for a decent fee upfront.

Good sense to free up a wage for someone else, but I would hope we haven't helped them out too much.

He will probably score a few for them, but Di Canio is obviously not fkng around with his decision making, and it would appear that he has got a keen eye for sorting the wheat from the chaff.

best of luck to him. Didnt deliver the goods but it wasnt through lack of effort. Could argue he was unfortunate to sign in a season where we've created the least chances in our recent history. Applied himself well but was the wrong signing when we needed strengthening elsewhere.

Played well in the 0-3 game in his boyhood idols' backyard and celebrated the win with vigour. Fair play to him

Can just see DG and Bruce twisting on over a greggs pasty!! 'We were never given a chance because of our Geordie routes'

I think Graham will have fond enough memories of the fans...was given no grief considering no goals scored and his history...
