honestly it is a little sad reading that.

ftecb have treated him shoddily with regards to his England career and now may force him to move elsewhere due to our financial struggles. also shows how the crap scheduling of fixtures fucks with the players as well as us supporters.

would be typical of our luck if we decide we can't afford to keep him and want to pursue youth only to have coughlin move elsewhere and the likes of weighell and arshad struggling with injuries.

it would be an absolute travesty if he is forced to move on after all he has done for durham and how dedicated he is. similar to mustard really only roles reversed [playing only longer format] but it shows how once bitten with harmison has made us that bit too quick to rid ourselves of great servants to that club :neutral:

There are about 12 other counties in that position as well and Durham are one of them and always have been. Hopefully they will never spend more than they have got again.
