Sorry mate, but moving to a club that are two points behind you with a game in hand is a sideways step whichever way you look at it. Especially when that team has finished higher than you for two years running.
i apologise for saying stoke had won the staffordshire cup 12 times, it is 13![]()

Maybe, you have some good players and more Prem experience.
This is what I don't understand about Sunderland fans. They talk of Stoke's style of play all the time, but you are no Barcelona. It's certainly true that SAFC vs Stoke is always worthy of last place on MOTD. Last season at the SOL was one of THE most boring games I've ever watched.
They reckon he doesnt start games for us now, and Bruce has publically stated that he prefers Gyan and Welbeck!!!
And theire 'Dennis Longhorn' reckons its nailed on!!!
Some fucker register and give them the craic before i die laughing!!
Carty come on son, Carty, Carty come on son, drop, drop there's a good boy

i agree but stoke fans are not stating that. they really feel that their club is comparable to safc in all ways. they need reminding from time to time that they are more at home, in the second divisionUnfortunately, has been said many times, a teams potential to improve or to attract marquee signings, has very little to do with our traditional strengths of good crowds and a great, but distant history.
It's all to do with financial potential to succeed and they have as much chance as us in that respect.
They will struggle to attract good players though if they cannot give assurances that they want to change their style from Artillery to Cavalry though.
