Got any valuable old toys?

done another 100 quid on lego this week

just buying a load of Hirnby trains for £50.. intention to sell on
Depends which Hornby trains. Many people think they are worth fortunes, one or two are but most are not. Hornby Dublo can be, Hornby 0 gauge, especially pre war in good condition,.

I have a Hornby train set from the late 70’s still boxes
Scalextrix from The same era still boxed
And action man....no idea if any of it’s worth owt....

I think my mum kept some of my Star Wars stuff too....not sure...but that was all from late 70’s early 80’s

Late 1970s you will be lucky to get an awful lot for it.

Evel kinevel strato cycle boxed

The limited edition from the viva kinevel fillum when he rode the eagle bike. Still has the sticker on from Joseph's toy shop £8.50. Pricey back in the day

I didn’t think any of it would be worth much...if anything....good memories though
Yes, I can't think of many things Hornby from the 1970s that would bring much. You never know, there is always someone, especially taking part in auctions, they seem to lose control of their senses. Mint Hornby Dublo (went bust in 1964 but perpetuated under the name Wrenn). Mint and boxed bring good prices, if you have the right models e.g a Castle or a SR EMU.
