Gorgeous Granada

Did it as a day trip to see the historic sites, which was fantastic, loads and loads to see. We were staying on the south coast so drove back there for dinner and our bed for the night, but presumably the food, drink and accommodation is decent in Granada as well.

This was going to be my next question before the thread started going terribly wrong, we are both veggie so how to politely say no Tapas please. Thanks for recommendation

Get off my thread you gorgeous granda you, unless you got something constructive to say .
P.S obv don't know whether you a granda or not but nevertheless
For a local bar that does only vegan/vegetarian tapas with your drink then you can't do better than El Jergon. Lovely owner too.

El Oju was good for something a tad more substantial.

Granada is good for falafel too, by far the best place in Spain for it (that I've been anyway), so between that and above we were happy for our 2 day stint. It was mostly spent boozing tbh.

not the same since the americans invaded

Been to that one anarl. First night in our self catering place, overlooking Morne Rouge Bay, that came with a free Jeep that we made full use of, we couldn’t find the mosquito nets. You should have seen the get-up I wrapped myself in to prevent getting eaten alive; linen trousers tucked into socks, another pair of socks on my hands, a towel around my head… I nearly boiled myself alive. I f***ing hate that mozzie buzzing sound.

I later met two separate people, both of who were my bosses but in two different organisations, who had family interests in Nutmeg plantations and processing in Grenada. I presume descended from former slave families, but it’s not the kind of question that comes up in conversation with your boss. I managed to get some ‘Nutmed’ medication for the wife’s arthritis for nowt tho-but.
