His stock might be lower than a snakes belly in this country but internationally I think he's still well though of.

Fuck me, we can't let the cyclops ruin the world can we?

There seems to be a rule that outgoing PMs apply for the most grotesquely ironic job available. Brown is right on the sweet spot here, as was Blair signing up as the Middle East Peace envoy.

Cameron will probably get a job as the head of Shelter or the Benefits Agency.

Time will tell

PFI was a disaster as was his measures for regulation of the financial services industry and he lied through his teeth about our borrowing levels. Brown will go down as a catastrophic chancellor, Osborne will go down as a shit one who inherited a mess and didn't do much to it. He rates zero, Brown's well into the minus points.

He was advised it was a good time to sell - with the advantage of hindsight we know it wasn't.
Probably by someone who is sitting on a git big pile of gold bought on the cheap.

My thougts exactly, lets see how Osbourne performs as chancellor for at least half the time Brown was there.

Gold prices were reasonably high until a shit load of gold was dumped onto the market at once. Then they dived, funnily enough. Other countries were/are doing the same thing, but selling it off piecemeal so as not to affect the overall price of gold on the commodities market. And he's supposed to be a f***ing economist!

the PF was a great invention. No longer shall you have to trawl through loads of crap about the state of the supermarket isle or the best shape for a tea pot just to see the latest Gordon/Mingolet or Bruce is a wanker post. The board is better for it!!

As for Gordon Brown, he did such a great job with our economy, why not let him loose on the IMF eh? I think it would be a really good idea to lend shit loads of money to Libya, Congo and the Cote D'Ivoir at the moment, because non of that money will be spent on bombs, and the IMF have every chance of getting it back

Edit: Steak Pie and his ilk - some of the words above aren't meant to be taken literally before you dive in with "he did a shite job with the economy and left us in a big black hole blah blah blah" ;)

Round. And it's "aisle", unless you're talking about one separated from the mainland by water.

What do you mean wrong board. I do not recognise any difference between PF and SMB. I shall post where i like. The adoption of PF is an abomination.
Why can't i comment on the lifestyle of a Raith Rovers supporter?

This reminds me of Laputian when the Parsnip board was first introduced. He filled the entire first two pages with footy threads as some sort of protest.
:-D

If he's good enough for the IMF, that'll do for me. I promise to stop responding to political posts, most are set by tory propagandists anyway.
