Google Pixel phones

Does anybody own one? Specifically the 6 or 6 pro. It is upgrade time and they are the two front runners. I have ruled out Samsung as too pricey but I am open to other suggestions of phones that are available on EE. My last two phones have been the Huawei P20 pro and P30 pro.

Had two different ones over the past 4 year. Haven't got the most recent one.

Seem good enough to me for the price like. Do need a case though as the material on the back is fragile as owt.

Have a look at the Oppo phones for an alternative

Got one. Wouldn't recommend it. Patchy signal (even after switching providers) and the touchscreen seems to be a bit iffy on the edges. Wasn't cheap either.

Had nexus and pixel phones for years. Upgraded to the 6 from the 4XL and didn't notice much difference tbh. Signal strength is ok round here. It is a slippery weasel though so you will want a case if you get one. I use the spigen thin ones. Fingerprint sensor isn't the best. The face unlock of the 4XL is much better.

I'm two and a half years into a Huawei P30 pro which I think is a cracking phone for both camera and Dolby Atmos sound for your music and I would have upgraded to the 40 or now (I think) 50 models if it hadn't been for the US ban on Google services. I did look at the Pixel Pro but it's f***ing enormous and just bordering on too big to use or stow in your pocket.

I did consider just going sim free as my P30 pro has been great and still works fine but I am going to give it to ny daughter.

That's all I've done mate. Bought the phone cash and just put a £10/month sim in it. I don't feel that the current range of Samsung and Apple phones are enough of an upgrade to justify forking out a grand or so.

Had a 3 and now have a 5. Preferred the 3, felt better made. I prefer vanilla android without the daft skins or bloat the likes of Samsung and Nokia use so will likely get whatever the new one is when my contract is up.

The Oppo X3 Lite plus the toys looks a decent deal on EE.

Had Pixel 3. Was a fan but my camera always seemed to take a blurry pic every so often for no reason.
