Good zoom but easy to use.

Looking for something with decent zoom capabilities (to use from 200 to 300 meters) mostly wildlife, did settle on a Panasonic Lumix FZ82 but realised all i want/need is something easy to use but a good zoom. Is there anything out there that may be worth looking at?
 


Looks like the FZ82 does what you want to me. Equivalent of a 1200mm lens so plenty of reach. Lightweight, all in one and stick it on "intelligent Auto" mode it will be easy to use (though not producing the best photos).

f5.9 means relatively slow shutter speeds when zoomed, but you won't really get any better quality unless you go to an expensive SLR/Mirrorless camera with a large and heavy lens. That will be more expensive and more complicated.

A tripod might be a good investment if you don't have one already.
