Good result for us

We're playing an Arsenal side who don't look up for much of a fight, Stoke who are mid table and nothing to play for, Chelsea who also have nothing to play for, Everton who could be in a cup final and are a bang average side and Watford who also could be in a cup final and have been awful since the turn of the year.

We need 7 points IMO, I think we'll get 9

How the fuck weren't city lucky to get a point like? For starters the only goal they got was a f***ing mile offside, so even that means they were pretty lucky. After that they had very few clear chances, apart from the possible Aguero pen shout and the navas shot across the goal. Near the end it was Newcastle who I thought were more likely to nick it and like I say with their goal being dodgy it's hardly worthy of a rolly eye and a laugh to say city hardly deserved a point for that performance. Despite losing I thought we should have beat them at the SoL, and the mags deserved to beat them tonight

No piss taking. Was I taking the piss when I said tonight would be a draw? Too many on here cant take it when someone tells it like it is, which is the mags prob deserved the win tonight and we are in serious trouble as they are starting to click.
City didn't try one bit. City fans saying they've never seen a performance like it tonight. "Long balls. When have we ever played like this"

TBF 3 on target shots at home, that wins a point, isn't too great ...... I'd say that was about fair.

At least it's fairer than a mate who messaged that he hopes the City team coach crashes on the way home ;)

I wonder if they were shiteing themselves as much as some on here after watching us destroy Norwich? The team that had just humped them?

Eh? Been garbage away from home for most of the season. One win at Chelsea at this time of the season does not mean much.

Its the mags mate. Thou must never praise the mags

Definitely. Not so much now mind. I said on here I got a text from a mag on Saturday saying us beating Norwich had saved them. And Sat night in 'toon' they were singing "Sunderland kept us and they are going down".

Just goes to show how stats can be misleading. The mags were miles better than City tonight. Better workrate, better imagination with the ball and they had less possession because they kept going forward and were willing to lose it to try and get in City's box.

They should have won tonight.

Which reminds me, the police were saying, on Saturday, that the Mags has caused trouble in the pubs after their match.

This is definitely a positive result for Newcastle, means they still have an outside chance of staying up.

I'd say they were better but 3 shots at home rarely deserves a win imo.

I know I'm probably being too negative. After our win at Norwich I just hoped they'd have another Bournemouth type home game v Swansea then lose to city. To see them win one and do decent in the other just has me anxious, we've been kicked in the balls that often you wouldn't be a Sunderland fan if you didn't at least half think "be typical if these ***** end up pulling it out of the bag". A point probably was about fair but like I say their one goal shouldn't have counted, they didn't come really close many other times and when the assistant showed five minutes I was more anxious they'd win it than think "gerrin, they'll concede here". Just been texting my mate and saying if Liverpool do their job I'll feel much happier, and I'll be positively delighted when one of the two games I can just see them getting 6 points from ends up in a draw/ defeat
