Good luck Jack Ross

Nice bloke but too big a job for him and a big learning curve.

Still think he was capable of more but he seemed to disregard his playing style and the reason he was offered the role in the first place. I really wanted him to do well.

Good luck in the future Jack.

Agreed. Always spoke and carried himself work, but it simply wasn't working out. Best of luck to him.

I sincerely believe the bloke gave his all and he comes across as a very decent bloke.

Really hope he goes on and has a successful managerial career.
I think it'll come out in the wash that he was Never backed in the transfer market by this ownership... And he did a canny job last season of getting pride in the club back... I have a feeling the next manager in will also prove what a difficult task it is getting by on free transfers and bargain bucket loan deals

Was a strange appointment in the first place, thought then, and still think now that we need someone who has experience in Division 1 and the championship.

Unlucky Jack... you seem to be a nice fella, and if you take anything from your time here...dont be so fckn negative !
We would have quite happily got beat at Bolton , quite happily took defeat at Lincoln and Peterborough if you'd had a go...get beat 3-2 4-3 but dint try and sit back on a 1-0 lead it doesn't work..
All the best.
Live and learn.

If the next manager does no better with the same set of players, that implies it's more likely than not that the players (as the common denominator) are not up to it rather than the manager. Unfortunately for Jack Ross, this can only be judged after the event.

I agree entirely. He was someone I really liked and hoped would rise with the club. From the Nick Barnes twatter post there is a suggestion he has been dealing with a lot of off field issues and that wouldn't surprise me. There is clearly an absence of cash and the whole takeover bollocks is just a distraction until something happens either way. Donald should be all over Twatter now as he has been for all other big news stories but he might get asked about his own faults

Much like grayson, he is a likeable bloke but completely out of his depth at SAFC.

Good luck to him.

Best wishes to Jack for whatever comes next.
I liked him, and thought that he was intelligent and stabilised the club when we needed it. However, his team ended up reflecting his calm nature and appeared to be missing the vital spark. I always felt that we were playing 10% short of where we should be, and that they needed to be let off the leash.
Hopefully the next one in can achieve what Jack just failed to do.

HE had four good months at the start. After Maja left, all downhill from there.

Interviews were DRoss (see what I did there) glad he.s gone, delighted.

Seconded,

The weird thing was he came with a reputation for playing attacking football and started canny, then fell away massively.
