What are the other 2 about? Im gonna give gomorrah a go like

The Wire's about the drug trade in Baltimore and how it impacts on all of the different aspects of society in the city and The Shield is about a corrupt anti-gang unit in the LAPD, loosely based on the Rampart scandal from the 90's.

Watched The Shield a couple of months ago....really enjoyed it.

I couldn’t get on with The Wire.

Enjoyed L'Immortale. Some of it was by the numbers and it felt like they were explaining stuff that didn't need explaining but overall very good. Modern day stuff probably better than the flashbacks.
Loved the soundtrack as ever.
Excited for the next season whenever that will be.

Filming due to start. The flashbacks were very Oliver Twist like.

Finally watched l’immortale last night. Absolutely class. Shot just like Gomorrah and Mokadelic do the music like in the show too. A must see cos it potentially has massive implications on the next series

Its still worth watching but feels like it should be a series rather than a film. When you watch let me know what you think of the ending, id be interested to see if the book ends the same

I agree with you on the Sopranos. Didn’t find the characters engaging at all. Wire my favourite and love Gomorrah

Finally watched it myself and cant wait for series 5
