Apparently he's a bit of a country boy and has a large property in South Australia I think. Large in Australian terms could mean very large.

Decent people.

That excludes you, clearly.

"I was going through a tough time because of the death of my wife"

Aye, because when a loved one dies you think "I know, I'll go and shoot some endangered animals"

Give over man you giant helmet. You never ate meat before?

I'm convinced you're 12 and a massive fanny. :oops::lol:

What a peculiar line of argument. Do you reckon he ate that elephant? Do you reckon he needed to kill that animal for food or money?

Fantastic bowler but aye, always seemed a bit of a tool.

It's the natural food chain. People just like being offended. It's not like hunting isn't thousands of years old.

Offended doesn't come into it. I'm not offended at all.

I still think people who hunt for fun/trophies are dicks. He didn't need to be involved in the killing of an elephant, buffalo and two hyenas. I highly doubt he ate any of them and I also highly doubt he even needed to profit from their ivory/hides.

Hunting is thousands of years old, yes. But with the advent of agriculture and animal husbandry, which allowed humans to move on from their primitive tribal groups and form societies, most human societies stopped needing to hunt. Human culture is a part of evolution and a product of evolution and you can't simply dissociate it from your vague idea of 'natural order'. We evolved highly developed brains which allow us to reason and figure out that we don't need to hunt animals like elephants for food if we can afford to pay thousands of hard earned Aussie dollars to go on Safari.

Dunno if offended is the right word, more saddened.

What sort of utter bellend, especially one in the public eye, has so little self awareness and norality to think that society accepts this sort of behaviour any more.

Wonder if he went home to his kids that night and said: ''Guess what dad shot today? A f***ing elephant!!!!''

The bloke seemed to be grieving for his first wife while plums deep in the second. A very strange person.

Couldn't give a toss where he is getting his dick wet but to play the grieving husband card as an excuse is a bit low

As the Aussies like to say, a shit bloke
