The man city ownerrs have done huge projects in "partnershipo" with the city council...
made millions and millions..,.making man city a good deal for them
As do the Mags. If they want to significantly increase the Shittip. There's listed buildings left right and centre on Leazes Terrace and St James' Terrace so they can't build outwards on the East Stand and the Leazes and Milburn stands are already pretty much done up to maximum capacity.
do newcastle need to extend their stadium or imporve it? man utd ground hasnt had a penny spent on it since 2005.
man city owners got a free stadium. did property deals in other parts of town though.

Yes. Hotel Football, the St Michael's area redevelopment which includes creating a new area between Deansgate and Albert's Square means knocking down Bootle Street police station, a Synagogue and the Sir Ralph Abercromby pub and building at least 2 skyscrapers and a 5 star hotel. He's got flats renting out at 20 grand a month man.

If they want to be the best of the best then yes, of course they need to extend and improve the shit hole. The problem is, they are extremely limited in what they can do due to the listed buildings on Leazes and St James' terrace, the Milburn and Leazes stands already being at full capacity and then the Leazes Conservation Area.

but do they need more capaicty in the ground-or just to tart it up?

He's clearly the figurehead and investing millions into the projects. Obviously he's not sticking his hi-viz jacket and steel toe cap boots on and digging the foundations but you know that.

They want to be winning titles and competing in the CL. Now obviously, I hope that doesn't happen but if it did, they're already getting high 40,000 attendances (not inc away fans) so yes they will of course need more capacity.

ok so is he the figurehead or is he investing millions into the projects? they mean different things?
of course he isnt syicking the high viz on..only actual construction workers and politicians on the make do that..but preoperty development is managed by people in suits in offices...does neville have a property company with any office..or is he just investing the money into a company or fund run by someone else?

You're nitpicking and you know it. Do you expect him, a 47 year old former footballer with a full time in football with Sky Sports to be running the day to day operations of every company he's heavily invested in?

By the way, yes he does have a property company. Relentless.

i mean lots of people run businesses day to day...especially if their other income is from a part time job as a football analyst..
ofc he doesnt run all the businesses he is in..he doesnt run salfrod fc for example...

remember Keano saying in an interview that he was amazed the amount of emails Neville was responding to just 5 mins before kick off

86 year old Spaniard Amancia Ortega who founded Zara is the latest to declare his interest according the Manchester Evening News. Think people just throw their name in the hat to generate a bit publicity like that Irish cage fighter

INEOS gadgee Jim Ratcliffe would be the fans favourite being a Manc and ‘allegedly’ a boyhood supporter but even his personal fortune is estimated at around £6 billion which wouldn’t leave much change if the Glazers want minimum £5 billion.

Can’t see anything but another sports washing exercise personally. Dubai maybe.

They are tbf
They aren’t, I don’t think people realise how rich the Saudis are. Their royal family don’t disclose their wealth and they control Saudi Aramco which earlier this year overtook Apple as the most valuable company although Apple may have since overtaken tbf.

United fans thinking Apple are richer than the state of Saudi Arabia is hilarious
It is the Saudi Arabia Public Investment Fund that owns 80%of Newcastle United and has approximately $620bn of assets under management, whilst Apple have a market capitalisation of $2.4tn so by that metric they would have richer owners. The point that the Saudi Royal family themselves regarding their wealth are not limited to that particular entity alone is taken though.

🐓waving over money aside it will be six or seven clubs owned by entities with access to vast resources competing for a limited number of world class players whilst investing in their facilities to attract them and supporters- in other words business as usual.

Saudi state have already said they will support any ‘private’ Saudi bids for Man Utd or Liverpool. That could get very messy indeed trying to untangle the ownership structures of these ‘private’ companies.

I’m not talking about their investment fund. I’m just talking about the Saudi state itself with their natural resources etc.

It depends how Jim Ratcliffe structured a deal tbf, as his money I would assume is mostly tied to INEOS so I would expect to see borrowings and/or a consortium in his case.

Sports washing is obviously still a realistic option although outside the Gulf states I can't think of anywhere else that could get involved in the current climate.

The Glazers dont own all or even most of the shares in UTd..so have to inform the entire shareholder base.
I don't regard statements from you as being necessarily truthful.
I bet the Glazers own a massive chunk of the shares. I would not be surprised of they do own the majority.
And the shareholders of Manure (Glazers et all) agree to pay large amounts of their cash to the directors (Glazers) so they are contributing massively to the club's increasing debt.
