I don't think he was miming but the sound quality towards the back right was abysmal - it was like listening through a wall - and you could barely hear the vocal. After a few people left - or got hoyed out, we got nearer the front and it was loads better. Strange atmosphere though.
i got hoyed out for booing! they were miming like!
Why didn't you just walk out if you weren't enjoying it?
He wasn't miming but the venue isn't good enough to accomodate that many people, the acoustics of the room are f***ing shit, the ceiling is too low and when it's as densely packed as last night, you can't hear a thing at the back. The majority of the boos and heckles came from the back of the room which is no coincidence, move forward into the crowd or go home instead of painting our city as a bunch of small town daft kernts.
I must say though, £15 quid for a gig experience like that is a shambles and the Independent promoters want to at least ensure they can lay a good gig on for that price in Sunderland or else the music scene here will only fade further into obscurity.

I agree, had to leave their set at Reading festival 2/3 years ago because they were so bad.I'm not one of the music snobs on here and like to keep my "they're shite" opinions to myself.
However, Glasvegas are woefully shite
