Glastonbury 2023

All that fuss about Billy Nomates might have done her a favour. I'd never heard of her and checked out her set off the back of it and I reckon it's absolutely brilliant

What is wrong with wanting a band to deliver the music you first heard them play. Look at the Rolling Stones, Elton John etc etc. You know what they are going to play and how they will play it. That’s what makes them special and legends.
Elton John will apparently open his set with a song he hasn't played live for 10 years.

If no one wanted to hear anything but the music they first heard them play, the Stones would still be playing a set consisting entirely of blues covers.

Some bands evolve, some of their audience doesn't. If all you want to hear is the same songs delivered in exactly the same way every time just buy the records.
