Glastonbury 2023

I'm a bit behind but Editors are knocking it out the park. Up there with The Big Moon with best set from what I've seen so far. Still got a few from Fri/Sat to catch up from. Liked Generation Sex but they looked like they were on at about 10am playing to a half asleep crowd

It's not a stretch, she is absolutely enormous these days and bigger at this moment than those acts you mentioned. If she ever toured properly (she rarely does) she'd sell the lot out. She'll headline Glastonbury at some point too. For some reason this forum has a bit of a LDR blindspot.
Your missing the point.

Pink is a pop star. She's not glasto headliner material. I doubt if get the party started was her encore all of pinks fans would sing it word for word if she was cut off.

It's easy to be produced bland popular music look at Coldplay. Lana del Ray is on another level musically and her sales are not that far off Pink tbh
Fuck me man everyone knows all the words for tons of songs and it’s no barometer for how big a star they are. Go to a waterboys cincert at the O2 and I’m sure whole if the moon will get sung by everyone. Go to a Pink concert and everyone knows the word for So What and dozens of others.

just watching this set now. its class

was it supposed to be one or the other? or was it billed as Rick Astely and Blossoms cover The Smiths ?
Think it was a secret set listed as TBA on the original line up.

A quick google says they’ve done this set together couple of times in London already so it’s a continuation of that. I presumed they’d both be doing their own sets elsewhere too this weekend but looks like only RA did.

I expect my daughter would be there, it's one of the bands she wanted to see
Reason i've enjoyed this year so much is cos ive watched it all with my 12 year old daughter, i can see her really getting into it. Taking her to YNOT festival in a few weeks, just want to let her know how special these things are. Hopefully when im in adult nappies she'll be taking her kids and so on....
