Have a wander round Govan, should make for a canny adventure.
Castlemilk and Drumchapel are lovely too.
Used to have some great nights out in Glasgow when I was younger - always found the folk to be a good laugh.

Spot on marra. Glasgow is a fabulous city, transformed thanks to City of Culture and Commonwealth Games investment. The bars and restaurants in Finneston are a class night out. Likewise Merchant City or the bars along Bath street.City centre wise - Necropolis and the cathedral, Merchant City, George Square, Equestrian statue (Cone heed), GOMA, Buchanan Street, The Lighthouse,
Along the Clyde you have the Hydro and the SEC, the tall ship and Transport museum.
West End has Kelvingrove Museum, Hunterian Museum and the Uni which is worth a walk around, Byers Road and Ashton Lane.
There's loads of little bits to do, narrow it down a bit.
awesome for people watching! The Horseshoe bar is canny.
In there now. There's a hen party in. It's blartamania. The Shilling Brewing Company is a cracking brew pub in West George Street. A converted former bank with an on site micro brewery and also serves lush pizzas. Oh, and it probably has the funkiest bogs in Glasgae!

A few of my personal favourites:
"The 78" in Finneston is a vegan cafe bar that does lovely food (even our carnivore son loved it) and there's plenty of real ales and craft beers on offer to whet your whistle:

Round the corner The Ben Nevis Bar has loads of craft ales on and one of the best selections of malt whiskeys you'll ever see.

The Howlin' Wolf in Bath Street. I love this place! Craft beer heaven (including Beavertown beers so a big thumbs up from me) with a great vibe, live blues and canny bait:

Indeed, that's what I heard. Thanks for all the information.Should be enough to be getting on with.West Brewery on Glasgow Green is a nice place for a swally. Canny walk along the river too. Necropolis offers decent views n all if you're that side of the city.
Nice enough train ride up to Loch Lomond if you want to get out the city too.
Proper underrated place IMO is Glesga.
Thanks mate.I reckon I have enough to be going on with at the mo.Going for a long w/e initially.I'll probably go again next year, see how it goes.Depends what you fancy doing and if you're away with the missus, family or mates etc. Give me a PM and I'll help if I can.
That attitude could be found anywhere in uk in the larger towns and cities tbf.Edinburgh much better city imho.
Glaswegians weren't the friendliest I found. Rude Bar Staff, suspicious locals and
The woman serving in the chippy actually said to me: "what the fuck ya wantin!"
I hear they have the world's biggest dust museum in the stadium there.hop on the subway and complete the subcrawl. Getting off at Ibrox (of course) for a bit of culture before hopping back on to complete the "tour".
