Like you say, the current GC should make for a good race though. Quintana will attack, both Nibali and Pinot will try to attack as well, if possible, and Dumoulin and Mollema will defend what they have. It'd probably be in their interest for the latter two's teams to work together to a degree.

Yep and Orica and even Sky( to soften up Quintana for July) will pitch in.
Don't think Dumoulin will be friendless

Quintana still capable of winning of course, but certainly makes it interesting.

Aye Thomas must be thinking "what if" even though he may have had one of his bad days days in the third week regardless

Tipped by inner ring that the stage might suit him....looking very good

Hope he wins it, but the stelvio etc will be crucial

Expect Movistar to go Banzai , maybe on first Stelvio ascent.

His team reckon Dumoulin should be good for 60 to 90 seconds on final TT so they need about four and half minutes out of him before then
