*^*^*^Gills v Sunderland Match Thread*^*^*^*^

He's really putting in a shit load of effort at the moment. Tracked back well and ended up defending quite a bit. Shame he's got no midfield behind him to supply any chances.

Midfield is non existent because the back four play archaic non-league rubbish of absolutely f***ing hammering it as hard as possible whenever it goes near them.

Is that Flanagan who is completely out jumped/out muscled from the corner...? whoever it is it’s typical of the attitude of the players recently, completely half arsed
That push is a lot worse than the one Liverpool got a VAR penalty for against City. How can the ref let that goal stand, that was blatant even without VAR.

We should have been 2 0 down in the first half.
Terrible performance, terrible tactics.

Hume was badly at fault for both Burton goals. Mind you could argue the reason he was so far up the field and out of position is that amazing left winger he plays with, who doesn't run at all. Glad to see neither of them started today, even if the football was turgid.

He's a wing back though and broken brains decided to play a formation requiring wing backs, without any wing backs.
