Very goodwhat do people think the chances of a gig on March 28th going ahead as normal?
Isn't that a sports shop?!My wife is technically vulnerable but we’re both triple jagged
It will probably be my last chances to see JJB in action - he’s been my hero for 45 years
On the other hand it could be the last gigs I ever go to
Did you "Learn to love" Black and White again? What's the current thoughts on gigs
I'm supposed to be doing 3 nights on the upcoming Stranglers tour - 2 in Glasgow and 1 in Newcastle
The o2 in Glasgow is a typical old school small venue, packed like sardines and poorly ventilated
Currently the Scottish gigs would be off but Sturgeon is reviewing the current regs on the 17th - a week and a half before the 2 gigs
There's every chance that the guidance could change before then and I know that football clubs are confident that they'll be allowed crowds back after the 17th
In my opinion outdoor football grounds are probably safer than gig venues
I can't help thinking that I'd be asking for trouble going to the gigs and I'd be happier if they were postponed until the case numbers are a lot lower
How does anyone else feel about gigs just now
I did actually - it’s a great albumDid you "Learn to love" Black and White again?
All of Sturgeon’s utterances over the past couple of days suggest that restrictions will probably be lifted by the 17thI can't see there being many gigs on in the next couple of months. Even my mates 60th birthday in our club tomorrow has been cancelled cos of Covid.
i went a bit mental after we were released. Went to 3 gigs and Kubix in one week in October. Also, Lindisfarne, This is Tomorrow (shite but free) and loads of little gigs. next is Self esteem at Wylam. Cannot wait.I'm supposed to be in Glasgow in 4 weeks to see The Lumineers at the Hydro. Heard nowt to say it won't be going ahead as planned.
A couple of jaunts to the Cluny aside it'll be the first big gig I've been to since this shit storm all kicked off. Funnily enough, the last big gig I went to before the pandemic was The Lumineers at the same venue.
Ironically I bought the tickets for these gigs 2 years ago today when there were rumours of the first cases in EuropeI'm supposed to be in Glasgow in 4 weeks to see The Lumineers at the Hydro. Heard nowt to say it won't be going ahead as planned.

Self esteem is third time luckyI've bought tickets for things, they just keep getting put back.
we're going to see them at the city hall.I’ve got Stranglers tickets for brum and I’ll be going.
Probably more an issue with travel restrictions arseache than COVID worry.Going to see SMB legend Stewart Lee tomorrow night at The Lowry, full house and not expecting any problems.
However Henry Rollins has cancelled his UK and Europe dates in Feb/Mar.
USA artists are cancelling. I was popping down to my mate's in Leeds and was going top see Pearl Charles but she has cancelled.Going to see SMB legend Stewart Lee tomorrow night at The Lowry, full house and not expecting any problems.

and how good were they?I went to see Fontaines DC at the Barrowlands back in October. It was rammed. I don't know if it was luck or the fact everyone was vaccinated (they were checking the passports outside) but I didn't get it. If you've been vaccinated, boosted and are in good health I'd probably just go.
