German Cricket

I always thought most of their migrants were Turkish. Would be a canny tour for a piss up though.

Most associate countries teams are made up of mainly sub-continent expats from what I've seen.

There was a new tournament aired on the Freesports channel last summer called the European Cricket League. 10 over a side matches featuring domestic T20 champions from countries like Germany, Holland, Romania, France, Italy, Denmark, Spain and Russia. The Dutch team won it but they had some ex Dutch internationals including a couple of players who played county cricket. Everyone else were amateurs. This year there was supposed to be a bigger tournament but obviously it has to be pushed back.

Most of the players were expats, except for the Dutch who were all native. They obviously have some success as a nation in cricket (World Cups, beating England, Dirk Nannes, Ryan ten Doescathe etc). There was at least one native in each team iirc with the Romanian Pavel Florin becoming a viral superstar! The Danes had two native brothers called Henriksen opening the batting and smashing it in one of the games.
