he keeps playing him for the first team yeah..

im not aying i know better. ims aying their manager..who signed him and plays him regulaerly knows better.
He's doing that well he has him on the bench more often than he selects him for the first 11. 13 starts all season and most of them in the first two months.

He knows to play others more regularly. Ignore that though. You're just waffling and spouting shite now.

 give it up man
hull have played 33 eague games..
he has played in 29 of them..
so only four times has there not been a role for him..
and thats assuming he signed in time for the first game and hasnt been innured.

or to put it another way..he hasnt selected others more regualrly..has another player in his positon played more than 29 times this season in total?

he started 2 of the past three i think..

but he got a move to a higher division club..and gets games for them..i said, on this baord, about this time last year, that honeyman would be a champo player this season, whether safc were up there or not.
and he is..playing regualrly in a higehr divison.
peopple on thos baord twril themselves into a frenzy about maguire, who nop champo club wants..honeyman has a champo club willing to pay money for him and play himregualrly..
most of the fans darlings n here would never get a champo move and certainly not if a fee is involved..

He has made 13 starts out of a possible 33 games. Spin it whatever way you want he is not cutting it in the Championship and never will.

Thats just statistics man. Tell me how he's performed.

he is cutting it..i told you people honeyman would be inhe champo..you were all frothing at the gash about maguire..a failed champo player..
honeyman is in the champo playing very regualrly..
maguire is a 32 year old champo failure..
Thats just statistics man. Tell me how he's performed.
the performance creates the stats..if he performed worse than the alternative in his positoion, in the view of the guy who sees him play more football than anyone else, then he wouldnt have those pisitive stats.

And their manger was that impressed he rewarded him by putting him back on the bench.

So why hasn't he been picked to start in 20 of those games? I'm assuming it's because his performances haven't been great but I guess you know differently?

It's a positive that he puts him on the bench more often than not?

So why isnt he starting Charles?

its positive that he platys him almost every games..
he has been at the club for 32 league games...played some part in 29 of them...and missed one game though injury at least..

so in all bar two games the manager has played him..
and started him in 13

apart from maybe the keeper..im not sure safc have a single player at the club now who would do that this season..in the champo..

No one is arguing whether our squad is fit for the championship or not.

We are discussing the merits of Honeyman who is mostly a sub for a relatively poor championship team. His manager doesn't rate him highly enough to start most weeks. His fans aren't impressed either and he didn't impress when he played in the championship for us.

he is outperforming every single player safc have now, and, with the exception of maja, every player we have had for the past two seasons.
but people on hereare stubborn and still blaming him for his prformances when ross played him out of position for a season..

1 goal in 29 games

1 goal in 29 games
is he a striker like?
that wpould look bad even for a guy playing as a 10..but as hull have a footnall manager who is good..he diesnt play him out of positon..

he scored a few for us in the champo..but his assists rate was poor if memroty serves..

And also isn't doing well at Hull.

He was poor for us in the championship. His goals masked his largely anonymous performances and a willingness simply to run about made him marginally stand out to some fans in view of the unwillingness at the time of some of his teammates to do the same.

League one, at best, is his level and I didn't think he particularly stood out there either.

It is no surprise whatsoever the he is now largely a sub at Hull.
They paid 400k for him, what were they expecting. Hee was never a number 10 and I have no idea why we kept persisting with him there except for him being captain and us having too many centre midfielders. He's decent enough as a hard working central midfielder though if you have others around him who can do more than the ball carrying work. He also tries to play football in the opposition half of the field, which is a characteristic which should be more highly rated.

We cant really judge any youngsters from that last Championship campaign though as it was an embarrassment from start to finish and they didn't have any senior players of note ti help them grow into their roles.

Honeyman tended to be shuffled around the pitch because he never excelled in any one position.

he is such a good footnall manager he has got Hull to the lofty heights of 17th with the legend that is Honeyman

He isn't though. He's a bit part player in a struggling Championship side. You're talking complete and utter bollocks, as per.
