And we looked pretty poor until he came on and we had a focal point there. He should start.
Agree with this -great ball through for Roberts ( who you would put your house on scoring ) closed down very well when we needed it after the sending off and looked like he really was up for the game -he and Onien added urgency to our play.
Much better than Pritchard in that role ( as he should be )

Only 3 teams have ever been in the automatics at Christmas in the championship and not gotten playoffs. Boro twice and Blackburn. The manager on all 3 occasions? Tony Mowbray…
Maybe it was more to do with the players he had at his disposal. Blackburn aren’t doing any better this season - falling away like they did last year.

And when similar things are reported at Boro, Celtic, Coventry and Sunderland this February? When does a coincidence become not a coincidence? How many seasons of ours need to fall apart due to poor conditioning coaching for the penny to drop?

Did ok and linked the play. We needed someone to stay up front in the centre and he did that.

Still been a really poor loan overall. Don't see the hype with him at all.

Think he's been awful overall, but definitely had a positive impact coming in yesterday. Meant we had someone atleast staying around the middle when attacking. Before the subs we had no one central as Pritchard was drifting out wide as was diallo

Incredible comment that mind.

Thought We’ve moved on from putting up with Charlie wyke level type footballers and accepting they were good enough for safc.

Wyke scored a ridiculous amount of goals for us for being an absolute bang average professional footballer at the same time.

He was here for nearly 3 years and was useless for the majority of his time here.

The season he scored a load of goals for us, I remember thinking a decent player would’ve scored 10 more
Gelhartd for me is judged unfairly among some of our fanbase.

He’s not a centre forward.
He’s support striker.
Someone who would play off a central striker.
Steady on there, my post wasn’t an assessment of Wykes ability or lack of, it was a lighthearted dig at a poster about becoming obsessed with criticism of a player.
You’ve taken it completely out of context

We’ve had a good season under TM, even with a fully fit squad, most ppl would have been very happy to be in play-off contention with 4 games left.

12th would still be a respectable season, don’t know what your problem is with TM.
12th would be an appalling return given the squad available and the talent we have on the pitch week after week. I said before the season we should be finishing 4-8th with a serious contention for a playoff spot and I stand by it. I don’t see why anyone would accept there being 11 clubs in this dumpster league better than us, and think that we’ve done a good job. Say we win 2 draw 2 and finish 7th, then that’s an acceptable season, but if we draw 2, lose 2 and finish 12th, that would be a really bad season imo
