Looks terrible so far! All of the sets seem to be presenters sitting behind a ''breakfast bar'', which looks like a cross between a show home and canteen.A few teething problems so far.

Seems like they’ve recruited the producers who used to release Bin Laden’s monthly videos from his Pakistan compound.
Lots of chat about Brexity type voices not being heard despite the majority of newspapers and radio shows leading with the exact same things they’re discussing now and every election going the way of those voices since 2005. It’s absolutely mental. Disappointing as well as despite his leanings I always had plenty of respect for Neil’s broadcasting capabilities and on screen neutrality.

Jeremy Vine show with shite Ikea breakfast bar everyone sits behindIt’s basically just going to be the channel 5 Jeremy Vine show 24/7 without the balance. Based upon the opening half hour, they have nothing scheduled that is original or different to anything already available. Emperors New Clothes
I will not reveal who, but I had a telephone discussion with someone who has been on tonight, it was early lockdown last year and they were going to do 30 mins work for me each week. Call was going great till they revealed something I really disagreed with, so had to withdraw my offer.

Probably just me, but if I had a new TV channel launching on a Sunday, I’d not order stuff on Thursday with only 1 day day for it to be delivered.
agreed. There’s not enough cameras and the sound is awful. Must be quite a shock for Neil after working with BBC news studios and production teams. To be fair, when they pan out to the wider set, it looks a lot better.
No idea why they chose to sit Neil behind a desk in the most bland, dark corner of the room.
AV is out of sync on a pre-rec tape.
That’s shocking.
They should have hired me. I’d sort that shit out.

Yep. Out on Sky for sure.Sky 515
Id love to be there for the reading of the Riot Act after the broadcast ends.
In fairness, some teething problems were inevitable and it will get better in terms of production. The dialogue now is better than it was at 8.10pm, and you can see the difference that that it makes to have one of the old hands on air like McCoy or Stewart. My heart sank when Dewberry started going on about being educated at “the school of hard knocks”. Cliched bollocks.
Andrew Doyle on now. My tip to be highlight of the channel. He’s excellent.
