GB News going live May 31st

Respectfully, who watches news for the talent? (No, not that kind of talent before someone jumps in).

The problem with Andrew Neill and those like him is their whole identity is built around the left being dumb woke idiots that silence the right and conservatives. I watched some truly mind-melting crap with Dave Rubin the other day in which he 'broke down 1984' and compared it to the ideologies of the left.

Neill and the like conflate their opinions being unpopular with being silenced. I can watch any great number of conservative voices speak on my computer or my TV. Nigel Farage was getting on TV despite having never won a UK election.

Their strategy is to usher in their pro-rich ideas under the guise of protecting a lost Britain that feels familiar to people that don't want change. If Neill really thinks it'll be a success good luck to him, but he was far from impartial on the BBC, so I can only imagine what he's like when he doesn't have someone at least trying to stop the dog getting out the door.
I have genuinely lost count of how many times I've watched some right whinger on TV or read them on a media site claiming they are being "silenced". Quite clearly they think we are stupid, and don't notice their blatant lie.

I don't mind it, I think it could be quite funny tbh

Like the similar ones elsewhere in the world, you get a very small % of people watching as it is literally a safe space for them and tells them that the angry thought they have is the right way to feel, everyone else just kind of laughs at it. Look at Fox News, Infowars, Sky News Australia etc. I see far more people laughing about them than taking them seriously.

The woke mob on here will be going full gammon "I don't agree with him. That's a racist, big red bus, Greta Thunberg, it's spewing rabid right wing bile, George Flllloooyyydddd!"
House!
