Poor decision. Did well with no funds and had them playing some attractive football. As noted earlier in the thread, Birmingham did similar with Gary Rowett a couple of years ago and almost found themselves dropping out of the league, another short-sighted decision and I dare say they'll not perform as well this coming season.

I think he’s been unlucky on a few occasions. Was unfortunate to be sacked by Swansea, Boro didn’t give him 5 minutes before pulling the trigger and I think he’s done a really good job working with his hands tied behind his back at an absolute basket case of a club in Birmingham.
