Gaming PCs

for the monitor check out the amazon warehouse for a like new, normally they are returns some 1 has changed their mind and sent back after opening the box. can save a few ££.

I think you might struggle with £600 though tbh, its a shitty time to be building PCs with part shortages and new stuff coming out. There has also been a ressurgence in bit coin mining which had bumped the prices of lower end graphics cards up by a fair bit.

Buy 16GB 3200mhz memory for Ryzen systems.

bought 3600mhz anything over that you got to overclock

i just went with what he sugested as poster seemed to know his onions , i don't bother with hardware just the software side, haven't got time, know a little but spend me time wisely

should have asked here but you got to be quick with systems with 3000 cards in, dallied before and lost out

Anyone into Gaming on laptops?

Yes I know they are overpriced for what you get compared to desktops but my house has no room for one. The kids need another one for schoolwork so I thought I could maybe use the chance to get a gaming one at the same time to play some games. Im not expecting to play Cyberpunk on Ultra😂

Budget about £700. Ive looked at the Acer Nitro 5 and Meridion Crawler which seem decent specs for the price.

I've just got a budget PC but I love it, the company do laptops too - PCSPECIALIST - Configure the CosmosIX 15 to your ideal requirements.

i've quickly googled but i'm not sure if i'm looking at the same ones

but if i am then the acer is the much better bet

edit - actually, ignore me, looks like there are multiple versions of each, so i could have been looking at apples/oranges

Thats the thing.. depends on the version and what processor is in etc. Dell G5 another option at £720 on sale but screen apprently a bit poor. But then others have dodgy screens too at that price.

Always worth looking at refurbished too to get something that should really be over a grand.

Well I went for the G3.

Pleased with my choice. Decent laptop but understated enough that it could pass for a run of the mill one.

Got myself a wireless gaming mouse and downloaded a few games. Somehow in a week im a bit of a PC gamer. Never would have thought that😂

Any of the PC master race got any other tips?

Wait for the steam sales to buy games, Christmas and summer are the big ones.

Epic game store give free games away most weeks, some pretty good ones. But dont leave their app running in the back ground as its a resource hog.

Cdkeys is normally a good place to get cheaper games.
Ea play is currently in offer in steam for 80p for the first month.

Deals is the best place to find deals on games. You can link your Steam wishlist up and they'll email you when they're on sale.
