I know. They're not responsible for him though. They ended up producing the late late show and they had done loads of stuff by then that corden liked so he immediately wanted to be on board as a fifth producer.

They’re getting involved in the promotion of other sectors too….Sunderland really needs to develop more commercial aspects so having a high profile company has got to be great news. There really needs to be a joined up objective between the council , the university and industry to improve and develop Sunderland

It would be good if they built studio space here as well and kick started productions being made in the north east instead of just one or two and then the footage being sent to a production house down south where the majority is anyway.

As per the tweet further up where they say they have to deliver, I think they're taking up some space at the University but looking to expand over time into a bigger unit. I don't know much about the technicalities of film / tv production so no idea whether this means there will be the full works up here. Happy to have any movement forward for the area though and can't see any negatives.
