I’m not a fan of him at all, but I think calling a musician a champagne socialist is a cop out. If he was a lawyer or a banker than you can call him a hypocrite, but a musician makes music.

Way more musicians are left wing than right wing (I can’t prove this btw, but I bet you will struggle to find me many only Tory supporting British artists or many Trump fans in the US)

But he's not just a musician He's openly spent his career campaigning against other political parties. He's said he's a socialist (Not wrong with that btw) However if he really is why does he live in a Mansion and has millions in the Bank as that goes against Socialist values..

Apologies if I'm wrong , but are you sure BB lives in a mansion and he has millions in the bank , big fan of Billy but he has hardly dominated the hit parade in the last few decades
