Full English Brexit

I would probably have values close to what other perceive to be socialist.

I don't have a problem with people living in a nice house or earning lots of money as long as they contribute to society and pay a fair share of taxes

I just have, as long as he doesn't own it that should be ok.
You haven’t. What should he be doing differently?

I’m genuinely interested in your view, but you’ve resorted to flippant comments rather than even attempt to answer the question.

Should he not be a musician?
Should he aim to be a bad musician so that no one buys his records?
Should he give all his music away for nothing? And play for free?
Should he find a way of paying more tax?

socialists believe that no one should own anything apart from the state. They also see capitalism as evil yet he's supporting capitalist banks. I really dont care about his music, however I find it strange that he's made millions from songs about about other people struggles.

Ok I’ve googled that.

Sorry mate, I asked you a question, a few others have asked it.

I’ll ask it again.

What should billy Bragg do?!
Be honest..

So what should he do?

- not make any money?
- keep said money but under his mattress?
- give everything he owns to the state?

In most instances we are part of society, and we follow the rules (whilst trying to influence them).

Some in the right believe that we should have a much smaller welfare state? Are they hypocrites for paying 45% tax? No, because that’s the law.

As has been pointed out many times, a lot of music has been about social struggle.

So you think he shouldn’t own anything?

Is that actually possible in 21st century Britain?

You do realise that pretty much all forms of socialism make a distinction between private property (factories, businesses, utilities and economic resources) and personal property (clothes, books, music, your car, your home)?

I really don't give a shit about the right or Right wing . I say what i see, And I don't believe Billy Bragg is genuine in his political views. His songs are about his own views so therefore he's up there to be shot down. If that's right or wrong thats another matter.

So it’s not about him being a hypocrite at all? It’s because you think he is a liar?

Because you called him a champagne socialist. And now you’re saying he doesn’t believe in socialism?
