Better a Socialist living in a mansion than a greedy, selfish Capitalist. The bloke has made a lot of money out of his music, do you expect him to live in a 1 bed flat and stash all his money in the bank?. No problem with him living in a mansion, as long as he hasn't also got a string of houses he rents out to those who will never have a chance of owning their own home, or shares in a former nationalised industry that mean the rest of us have to pay higher bills. At least he wants other people to do well, unlike the real enemy, filthy rich tories like May, Mogg, Johnson, Farage etc

If someone has been successful they’re not allowed to be left wing?

I find it ironic that he's made millions singing songs about other people struggles.

I though he was a socialist? Seems to be living way above his means if that's the case. Plus If he really is a socialist why does he work for the BBC ?
