VAR is there in part to spot things the ref has missed. The ref has missed it hitting Lamina's hand whereas VAR hasn't. The current rule is the issue here. VAR has massive flaws but it's not at fault here.
The lad is saying var doesn’t overturn it, var is just a replay, it’s the decision somebody is making that’s wrong.
Said it before, if you’re in the box may as well just lift the ball up to oncoming defender and with a bit of luck get yourself a penna.
NoFulham looking like scoring?
Only if it leads to a goal. It's a shit rule by FIFA. Goes out for a corner it's fine and then could score from it and it countsIf it hit the defenders arm like that no penalty would be given but it’s a free kick to the other team if it hits an attackers arm![]()
This. The rule and common sense is the issue. Players get criticised when giving away a penalty for having their arms out, but goals get disallowed when his arm is alongside his body with no intention to alter the path of the ball? Madness.
Doesn’t work like that though because the rule isn’t the same for attackers and defenders in the box for handball, see the Chelsea game at the weekend. Handball against a defender is a total lottery, whereas a brush on the attackers finger is a goal disallowed.Said it before, if you’re in the box may as well just lift the ball up to oncoming defender and with a bit of luck get yourself a penna.
He’s done a good job over the course of the season with what he’s got Parker imo. I think these are much better than the mags now but just a little too late
They just need to get the decisions correct. In tennis, if Hawkeye showed a ball hit the line and was in, but they still ruled it as out, then Hawkeye still did its job fine, it wasn’t the problem.Yeah but they keep changing the rule because of var that’s the point
None of this is an issue ifvar doesn’t exist
The rules already been changed twice because of it
it's never VAR's fault even when it's giving stupid decisions and enforcing stupid rules that only exist with the help of cameras.
it is 100% the fault of VAR. 100%.

Yeah fair point but this side is 10x better than the one we seen opening weeksThey don’t score enough goals like to be fair
He’s getting a lot of praise but he’s not changed that
But, you'll still get handballs given by the ref in that situation if he spots them.
It is if it hits his hand or arm.it's not handball if it hits the defender.
Its farcical atm mate ! His hand was against his body, not out anywhere. And the ball was blasted at him fro. Close range, how can that be hand ball......Exactly hand to ball is the penalty not ball to hand.
