This handball shite is absolutely ridiculous. The other day The Chelsea player literally moved his hand towards the ball and hit it. No penalty, purely because they got grief for there bullshit rule change, from the rule that always worked!!

Now they’ve changed the rule to if it’s ball to hand it’s not a penalty, however if it’s in the opposite box, where he can’t move his hand away and it’s by his side, it’s a free kick and the goal doesn’t count. It’s beyond a joke.

Disgraceful decision. Who comes up with these stupid rules?

It’s var not the rule

Ref on the field gives the goals

It’s bollocks man
It’s the rule. All VAR does is give the replay, the referee in that studio goes against what the rule is (which is ridiculous in a situation like that) and disallows it.

It’s var

The ref doesn’t give that on the field and the rules the same there

It’s a load of bollocks there’s no need for a replay on anything

Come in due to arsehole arm chair fans

how can a handball decision change depending on who's hand it hits? That hits the defenders hand and it's not handball, hits the strikers hand, it's handball. Someone, somewhere has come up with this rule and thought it makes sense. Some people are scarily stupid.

It's the rule not VAR. The current rule is that if the ball hits an attacking player's hand during the build up to a goal, it's handball even if it's accidental. All VAR are doing is interpreting the rule.
