Fulham v Chelsea kick off 2000 BT Sport 1 • BT Sport ultimate

Worst case scenario he gets a massive, life-changing payoff and probably favourite for whatever the next lower PL job that comes up is.
Just think it's only going to be a weight around his neck now that may hinder a big job next time. Where as he could have waited for a more suitable team to become available and had more success.
The Chelsea job is a thankless task and the owner seems like he thinks he's playing football manager or something

Brighton or Brentford his level

He's the one player who should do well under Potter, given how well he did at Brighton last season.
He couldn’t even control an easy pass and it bounced off him out of play. You expect better from a £60m full back.

Tbf Man City haven't made a bad managerial appointment under this ownership. They've replaced the manager and improved each time, and when they have replaced them it's been at the right time. When Guardiola eventually leaves it'll be big shoes to fill but they'll probably get it right. Also the way they're so well established as a proper top club now, it'll be all in place for whoever comes in to make it as sure as possible for them to succeed.

As for Newcastle, they're nowhere near that level yet. It's early days, and a decent year spread over two seasons means nothing yet.

You would think so but, Man City's bad appointment was still decent, in reality. A Mourinho, Benitez or Conte type who leave little with regards to sellable assets behind then could still leave them hamstrung. They probably wouldn't make that sort of appontment but, if they don't won the Champions League this year, the owners may try to push it.

Think that's harsh considering his progression. And time to develop himself further. He had worked his way up for this opportunity as opposed to lampard, Gerrard, arteta etc had to do, and he certainly deserved a shot at a perceived big club. But choosing Chelsea was a wrong move

That Chelsea squad is a complete shambles mind, it's not really on Potter. Back end of last season under Tuchel they got walloped 4-1 at home to Brentford, lost to Lampard's Everton and couldn't beat the likes of Wolves and Leicester at home. Then they lost 3-0 at Leeds, 2-1 at Southampton and 1-0 in Zagreb start of this year before Potter came in.

Their only creative player is a full back who is constantly crocked  what are people expecting? Both keepers are shite and they don't have any good attacking players outside of Sterling and Felix.

He's been poor this season. A lot of this shows that the right club, the right system, the right manager, just confidence are key in football.
I'm pretty sure they only signed him because city wanted him, then paid twice the amount man city were willing to pay. Same as the loan signing of Felix. Good player but was linked to arsenal and man u, who wouldn't pay the fees. They then jump in and sign a player that doesn't really solve their main issues

Who do you think was a bad appointment for them? I think every one of the three has been good

Potter ?
He's way better than that . He has virtually a full first team bar one Centre Half out injured here. He has to be given the chance , if so he will get it sorted.

With that many injuries you have to question the training methods and fitness drills. That is a lot of injuries especially muscle and ligament injuries

It‘s great isn’t it 👍
There are arsehole fans and then there are Chelsea fans.

Had enough experience watching and listening to them whether it be at service stations, train stations or on holiday.
Struggle to meet one that isn’t an arrogant twat.
