Doesn't take very long to figure out which early 80's rock classic was "inspired" by this (as in yeah let's use that riff)



From the riff to the lyrics to the vocal delivery/attitude, this is definitely one of the first true rock songs...

I've got those late lps he did with Johnny Winter on record (I was obsessed by blues in my 80s teens), they reinstated the power of the Chess band era, magnificent.

This cover of the Slim Harpo classic on his last record is immense
