Fresh injury to key player / tatical changes for tomorrow as a result

Push Onien into midfield and bring Seelt into the back four would be the solution.

You want a midfield 3 of Bellingham, Pritchard and Aunouiche? We'd be totally overrun.
Didn't say I wanted it but that would mean the least disruption to the rest of the team. However, Aouchiche had played CM before so wouldn't be out of place. What would you do if it is Neil?
Sorry, only read your last bit 😏 Yeah that is an option but personally I wouldn't want to change the back 4.

Losing Neil would fuck us right up, as Mowbray would rather lose than move onien from CB. The smart move as you say is to shift onien into midfield but that won’t happen. Probably end up with a midfield of Pritchard and Bellingham and then sit here on Wednesday night questioning why we were overrun horribly

If Neil is out I guess it’s basically back 5 front 5 with ONien stepping up to make it a 4 in possession

Hume Seelt Ballard O’Nien Huggins
Ba Jobe Pritch Clarke
Burstow

If Hume is out

Huggins Ballard Seelt ONien
Neil Jobe
Ba Pritch Clarke
Burstow

Ballard shouldn’t really mean a tactical change, Seelt or Triantis should be bedded in enough to merit a chance. The only players who would merit a change of shape to me are Neil, Huggins and Hume because we don’t have any fit players to naturally cover those positions.

Hume or Huggins I reckon - short on full backs. Which will mean we either go to back three or move onien to full back

Pritchard plays a key role tactically - particularly in the absence of another natural centre mid. He won the ball back for one of the goals on Friday night, for example.

I wouldn't bank on this being as clear cut as someone in one position is injured and we don't have another to slot in.
Yes, and we were 4-0 up against Southampton before he entered the pitch plus he had nowt to do with the 5th goal. Yes he is playing well (f***ing free kicks apart) but he's hardly irreplaceable in this squad.
Hume was subbed off around 70 mins
85 wasn't it?

Why the fuck would you break up one of the most important partnership in the team? We have U21/23(?) Players for those positions who should be blooded surely rather than going back to fitting square pegs into round holes.

Dack played that day - he isn’t available either. So my point stands.

Ekwah must have the worst dead leg known to man
you’d be surprised. A proper dead leg is significantly worse than just getting a bang. You get blood pool in the muscle and it takes weeks to recover from. I had one playing 6 a side where a knee went into my thigh when I collided with someone and my thigh looked like a ham joint for about 2 weeks after  was about 4/5 weeks before it felt okay
