Fresh injury to key player / tatical changes for tomorrow as a result

Any chance @Guinness Guzzler can bring up the issue of the amount injuries we keep getting and what the medical staff and training methods could do to improve at the next RAWA meeting?

I wonder if this hybrid synthetic turf may be playing a role... Good for concerts, maybe not so much for ligaments? Worth looking into at least.
Given what he said, it doesn't sound like Clarke. We wouldnt need formation changes if Clarke got injured. Sounds more like Dan Neil or Bellingham maybe.

We could go to two strikers or something if Clarke is out. Not sure Rusyn is ready for a full 90.

Wouldn't be against that either, just think Roberts is much better out wide. Thought Adil would be the obvious choice mate cos he has looked very good in the no 10 role.

'Water fairy' posted this earlier.

I do as well. Mind I think ba can play in the 10. Especially in the hybrid 8/10 Pritchard played in since ekwahs got injured. And Roberts and him can interchange if needs be.

Ba will play tomorrow and Roberts will play as no 10 is what I’m hearing 🤷🏼‍♂️
That doesn’t fit with what TM said. That isn’t a tactical change it’s just personnel.
What reshape would an injury to him cause though?

Surely seelt would just slot in or triantis. Ballard out would probably mean Hume moving to CB and us playing 3 at the back , truant is in and maybe Huggins dropped.

I noticed Pritchard looked like he had a strain early in the Sheff Wed game. A couple of times he looked uncomfortable and I thought he'd be taken off as he didn't track back after losing the ball. Obviously he must have ran the problem off but perhaps it seized up after the game (if indeed it's him Mowbray referenced!).

If it is Pritchard then hopefully Aouchiche just comes in for him and we don't need to change too much, suspect he'll bring Roberts inside unfortunately though.

Hope not as Roberts end product has been very poor for a while now. Adil looks a much better prospect in that position.

Sandy lad in my office this morn reckons it's Clarkey, but he is a sandy and is piping, so I dismiss anything he says anyway.

Honestly our injury record is a f***ing joke. We have to be doing something not quite right and its one of: medical staff, prepping the players or working them too hard. We had injured Mayenda on his first day ffs.

Our injuries always seem to be in the specific areas we are weakest in numbers and don’t have enough adequate cover as well! 🙄

Last year it was strikers this year central midfield. Mowbray even alluded to it during the summer saying we were asking for trouble if we didn’t bring in another central midfielder.
