They only cheat once they go a goal up usually But yeah the time wasting and general crap play is mind numbing after a while . It’s also the amount of time the ball is out of play that blows my mind. You can watch 45 minutes of football in league 1 and sometimes half of it is just nothing happening, throw ins, goal kicks all taken at a snails pace. We even do it at times.

As for McGeady the big question is where do you play him. If we actually had a couple of forwards with pace you’d fancy him to pick them out making runs, but as he has been constantly surrounded by players plodding about either alongside him in the midfield or up front he becomes ineffective.

He was ok for large parts of the championship season and good for parts of the league one season but by god when he had on off day was he bad.

Not surprised at Matthews, won't go down well but when he had a run of games in our team he was our best right back imo.

The reason the fans never turned on DG despite him being clearly not up to top level standard is that his effort and team contribution was never less than 100%. Don’t want him back but had total respect for the fella
