Have scored all but one game this season so around 98% of games. We have conceded more than three on two occasions (4%) so have conceded less than 3 in 96% of games.

Statistically we will score on Thursday. If that comes to fruition then statistically we will not concede 3 goals. In other words based on our performances over the season we are very very likely to win the tie overall.

Unfortunately football doesn’t work like that.

Normally a 1-0 from a first leg would be 'the slimmest of leads', but last night was very different. For the first time this season (our problem, we did it against some relegation clubs too) we completely outplayed you, and got the win - odds on it would have been more had we not been playing 12 v 10 for much of the game (tomorrow the 12 will be made official as twice before this season), even with 10 men it was fairly even, both clubs finding the woodwork. Much as you would be comforted to deny it, pyschologically we have very much the upper hand in this tie - it is rare we do not score and have been playing a bit better away from home - we have the momentum after both clubs stuttered at the end of the season. As for 'Fratton Park', the players will be just fine - so will most of our fans though we have understandable concerns about women and children of course, the obvious danger they will be in is a concern but shouldn't affect the result, at worst perhaps the actions of your fans might cause a stoppage in the game again.

So do I. It's still shit though. Plus the OP was a bellend so starting my reply with "I quite like your stadium, it's got a lot more character than many newly built ones" wouldn't have really set the tone that I was aiming for. He was trying to make their ground and atmosphere sound intimidating, so I was aiming to sound disrespectful and dismissive, hence I'd say their city/ stadium/ players/ manager/ fish and chip shops are shit, even if they aren't

My abiding memory of Fratton Park is sitting (!) in the pissing rain at the time when barrow boy Venables promised a new roof.

The bell ringer of questionable hygiene will be in attendance?

I’m personally quite scared of the size of the crowd. They took the piss out of 26k on Saturday, so guessing they’ll have well over 50k there on Thursday? Fuck, we don’t stand a chance.....
