watched his stand up on Netflix today-
One word - fucking shite
I like him.
I saw this for the first time the other day. First time I’ve LOL’d at a comedian for a long while.
He was controversal to get on mainstream telly, and when he was overly controversial they sacked him off.
Now he's a bit staid they don't want to know.
I thought he was good a few years back, it was more about the “fucking hell I can’t believe he said that” factor as opposed to being genuinely funny, looking back.
He's got his own show on BBC2. I'd say he's the most outspoken person on mainstream TV.
It's a bit boring though for Frankie, the four PC guests keep him in check.
I think it's funny as fuck and the guest usually spend at least half the show giggling away at him. His monologues at the end are brilliant.
I watched Joe Rogan's first stand-up special yesterday (Joe Rogan: Live 2006) and it was actually pretty good.
He should stick to singing imo
He probably gained a few fans with that “Walk 500 miles” tune
Which joke was too close to home ?
Definitely wouldn't want to sit in the front row at one of his gigs
Most sensible post you've made all year
The year is young......... unfortunately the clip I attached didn't load properly so it was just a load of code.
I watched a bit of his stand up once. It was basically like a run of comments he'd said on Mock the Week and I was disappointed
Is that a whoosh?
