I was Christened. And I gave a tin of whatever was at the back of the cupboard to the harvest festival at school. That's what being an Anglican is all about really. Tea and Tins.

Ditto.

Plus I served my sentence at the Sunday School in Ewesley Road Methodist.

Usually, but often rooted in fact somewhere.

Nativity plays have been stopped for fear of offence.

If this article didn't include actual quotes from headteachers I would have filed it under "bullshit."

It says 36 out of 100 schools surveyed weren't having a nativity play. That means, presumably, that 64 were having one. I suppose "two thirds of schools will be staging a religious festival this Christmas" isn't much of a headline for Torygraph readers.

He's probably making a fairly simplistic link between the huge presence of Romans in this country and the Roman Catholic Church.

He also once said catholicism was our native religion and all others are alien
The druids wont be happy with him one bit

Fair enough.

That one in particular who was interviewed is clearly one of the cretins though.

I remember that. IIRC this was all in the same thread.

To be fair it was here for a very long time after the Druids and such and only changed because Henry wanted a divorce.

But having sat through both Catholic and Protestant Christenings, I know which I prefer.

Aye, Paganism is our native religion, and one with which I'm more than happy to bring back if I'm honest.

You just get to shag everything if I understand it correctly.

Definitely, all that sex and that ;) and you'd be surprised at how many young uns are claiming that as their religion now, the young lass in our shop say's she's a Pagan.
