that the company set up last year to buy the club no longer has a purpose and that an FPP takeover is certainly not happening imminently.

yeah, is this not the FPP company created by the American's is being wound down, so if anything they are dropping their association with Donald and SAFC

Either they walked away? Or another company has agreed a deal and they don’t need it anymore? Or maybe they dissolve the company as they now own the club? Don’t know really, GOM would have a better idea.
I'm clinging to a hope that they're just going to buy Madrox instead (so rather than holding the Sunderland shares in FPP they keep them in Madrox). I've got no business knowledge whatsoever mind so it's no doubt a non starter, but in my mind they could buy Madrox as that removes the loan from being one that Donald has to pay back and thus means it was effectively a down-payment on the club. They set FPP Sunderland up earlier when they intended buying, not providing a loan. Mind I don't know why they'd get rid of the company now, there'd be no rush, so I'm just straw clutching! Much more likely that they're f***ing off, although that could suggest a buyer has now been identified and a takeover will happen very soon

Still two outstanding charges on Sunderland Ltd to FPP so looks like the loan is still either outstanding, or it takes lk her to update that part of CH than it does to update the dissolve on FPP companies house.
