Really. Was thinking about doing that’n as well. Done James a few times in smaller venues & they’re not cheap, so getting a few more bands on there would have been canny.

My brother got email before saying whole event is cancelled. Gets refund but no refund of booking fee
Am sure this has happened to all of us gig goers during the pandemic ?
Have now stopped buying tickets for gigs if the add-ons (booking fees are only a part of this) are over a £5 a head, per ticket.
Have lost a fair few quid and have had enough of the ticket agencies taking the piss.
It would appear they lose nothing if a gig is cancelled ?

What is pissing me off now is that they are still charging in the region of a fiver per ticket booking fee and now they aren't emailing you with a ticket, you have to download an app and then download the bloody ticket.

Aye my lass has just said, £119 refunded, think we paid out about £130. No idea why it's been cancelled?

Can anyone advise about best way to get to Boiler Shop gigs from Sunderland? Will they end in time for the last Metro home on a weeknight (just after 11pm)? Alternatively where's good to park the car?
Get the metro to central station. In general gigs finish in time for metros.

You can park more or less straight outside the Boiler shop, it's just an arse on to get to. You'll definitely need your satnav.

Boiler shop is not far from central station for metro/train to Sunderland. Easy walk.
My mental gymnastics are around the benefits/trade-offs of each: Driving is quicker, but Metro means a few pints (big bonus), but risk missing the end of the gig (or the last Metro) if gig it's running late.
