Forgotten Chocolate Bars

Only two chocoate bars I loved. One was Topic and the other Texan....R.I.P.

Topic are still going, I think.

Aye 'Tiffin' been rackin my brains trying to think of the name. Nestles I thought, but might be wrong, me and my sister used to get a bar between us after coming home from Newcastle road baths late 60s towels tucked under our arms. Good days.

I thought Nestle too.

I remember this. I used to mention it to people around my age (50's) and nobody could remember it.

Anyone remember the Nestles choc bar dispensing machines that were in train/bus stations 60/70s. Tiny little bars and had rice crispies in .

Just had some a couple of weeks ago. They remade it for a limited amount of time and managed to find some in WH Smith in Durham I think it was

Until a few years ago someone had drawn a huge knob with the legend 'big one sticks out a mile' on a wall close to where I live. Been there for years. Someone eventually sand blasted it out. Used to make me smile.
