For Those Wanting Allardyce

Does anyone really care about that if we get the results and be safe by January? Really? Poyet was a class moaner, but no one cared when we were doing fine. Another moaner just won he League this season. If he keeps us mid table, I couldn't care less about his personality.
Maybe not, but it's the reason I dislike him

Why? I'd have him here in a heartbeat. Good track record for producing solid premier league teams. Something we're crying out for.

I want to see a solid team, playing entertaining football with a philosophy that can be taken on if a manager leaves. I want a manager to nurture our young players and introduce them into the fold. I also want a manager that is articulate and presentable.

I don't even think Allardyce could guarantee us a solid team. Things didn't work out with the mags, they haven't worked out at West Ham. He'd be a poor option as we should be looking to be ahead of both clubs. The bloke reminds me of a darts player not a football manager.

To add, he's an ex mag and has been linked with accepting bungs in the past. He doesn't deserve a club like ours. We should be looking for better.

Their form lately has been relegation form. He was beaten convincingly yesterday to a shocking Newcastle side. You may say but he was leaving anyhow, well so what?! If he was well thought of you'd think his players would raise their games to give him a good send off.

It is genuinely unbelievable that we have fans turning their noses up at allardyce! Who on gods earth could we attract with a better premier league CV than him?
We are perennial strugglers. No more attractive then a west brom or Stoke and I'm sure people wouldn't expect them to be attracting anyone much better than a big Sam.
The delusion at times on here is staggering.

He had both the scum and west ham finishing solid mid table. If that's your definition of not working out then I'll take it not working out here. He's been shabbily treated at both of those clubs, because their fans are total morons with ideas way above their station, and therein lies the reason it "didn't work out".

You would think they deserve Europa League every year. Finishing around 8-12th is the best they could hope for, their dreams about challenging Liverpool and Tottenham are just that...dreams.

The young players should be good enough for first team in the first place. We can't even produce another Colback at this point.
Everton under Moyes had relegation form at some point in a few seasons, but they finished in good positions. WHU being safe in February every year is a very good result. We could only dream of that right now. And entertaining football? Yeah, we really are in the position to ask entertainment after our recent managers couldn't even get results by parking the bus.
Allardyce would be my 1st option, not even my 2nd or 3rd, but I wouldn't be against his appointment, he's much better that what we had this decade.

How much has Allardyce spent?

I'd rather have Brendan Rodgers than BSA but it wouldn't be a disaster if he was appointed; there is a lot worse out there!

We've failed to listen to the views of opposition fans before. You know what? They were proven right every time.

Allardyce is a football dinosaur. He'd be a backward appointment.

Interesting that many of the same people who can't stand his style of football are the same who wanted Poyet's possession-based approach. That was an absolute delight.
